The L-1011-500 TriStar is a three-engined widebody longrange
jetliner. Its three high powered Rolls Royce
turbofan engines provide it with the desired safety
on long overwater operations.
The L-1011
TriStar was the first aircraft to incorporate certain other
safety systems, including Ram Air Turbine Generator (providing
hydraulic power in the very unlikely event of all three
engines failing during flight - at present a common feature
on most 21st century airliners).

Four independent hydraulic systems providing additional
redundancy allow for an extremely safe operation.
Cabin Doors that slide into the fuselage to allow for safe
opening under emergency situations where there could be
obstacles outside the aircraft preventing doors from normal
operation.
The L-1011 TriStar is statistically one of the safest
aircraft in the world.
LUZair constantly upgrades its aircrafts as per European regulations, keeping them at the same safety level
as any more recent aircraft.
