Through the Active Control System (an exclusive Lockheed patented system), even today, the L-1011-500 is the only aircraft to be virtually unaffected by turbulence at any altitude. This sole feature provides a very comfortable flight.

The L-1011 also induces fresh outside air into the passenger cabin every four minutes instead of recycling as most other aircraft do.
