LUZair was founded in Portugal in 1997 to provide solutions for the passenger and cargo aircraft Charter Market, based on Portuguese resources.

In the year 2000, LUZair's developped mainly into an airline consulting and brockerage business.

Having settled as a dependable provider, LUZair later acquired two L-1011-500 passenger aircraft for the international Charter Market.

Today, LUZair stands before its clients as a reliable charter operator.
 

From the beginning, LUZair evolved through very demanding operations, mainly providing backup for other airlines, who were usually under pressure. This expansion was only possible as LUZair provided practical and efficient solutions.
